Reiki On The Homestead

Reiki on the homestead

Rei + Ki = Universal Life Energy

Universal Life Energy. What does that mean to you? This phrase translates to the Japanese word “Reiki” which you all know by now, from following me, as an ancient Japanese healing technique. With the big portion of the word “REI” translating into “Universal Life”, this healing can benefit more then just humans. That’s right, universal being EVERYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE! Animals, plants, food, situations…. literally everything. Here is how I use reiki on the homestead.

animal reiki on the homestead

Animal Reiki

Yes, Animals can receive all the same benefits from reiki as humans. Animal reiki has the same concept as traditional uses, it just requires as different technique. Why is this? Can you really expect an animal to sit still for 15-30 mins? Not likely. The technique I use on my animals is very similar to how I infuse items with reiki. Can you imagine me running around the chicken’s quarters after one chicken trying to balance each of its chakras? Kind of funny to imagine but not the case. I will either preform the infusion technique or the long-distance method. I teach both of these in my reiki courses.

Animal reiki can help manage their pain, anxiety, illnesses. I have even used reiki to help increase my chickens egg production, help an animal have an easy passing, & good luck with a procedure at the vet’s office. Animal reiki is a well used practice on my homestead for the benefits I have mentioned above.

The benefits include successful growth rates, faster growth rates, healthier plants, higher nutrition in the plants, better nutrition absorption, greater harvest opportunities, etc. The method I use to do this is by infusion.

Cooking with intention is upgraded with the practice of food reiki. I also do this through the method of infusion. Letting the reiki energy pour from my hands into the food I am making. Benefits of this could be for a million reasons. Getting over a cold, lowering blood sugar, bringing comfort, help loosing weight, easier to digest, soothe bellyaches, feeling loved & cared for, etc. You can also infuse reiki into your drinks to give you an energy boost, kick start metabolism, help hydrate you, etc.

Did you know you can use reiki for protection? Reiki protection can be done through visualization, long distance method, infusion, or by the use of reiki symbols. You’ve worked your butt off for your home & farm, why wouldn’t you want to protect it? Protect your home, your animals, the people on your homestead, your garden, etc. Protection reiki is probably how I use reiki the most on my homestead.
