Mabon (may-bon) is one of the eight sabbats on the wheel of the year. Mabon is also known as the autumn equinox or the second harvest. Mabon is celebrated September 23rd in the Northern Hemisphere . In the Southern Hemisphere it is celebrated March 20th. Many cultures see the second harvest as a time for giving thanks. This time of year is when farmers know how well their summer crops did.
